Welcome to the City of Cupertino’s redesigned website. Explore our new look and structure, which reflect the priorities and values of our local government and community. Check out our new and updated content.

The old website, which served us well for many years, has been retired to make way for this fresh approach to the City’s internet presence.

We’d love to hear your comments and feedback on the new Cupertino.org via our Website Redesign Satisfaction Survey as we work to continually improve the site to give you the info and tools that you need.

Teen Summer Volunteer Opportunities

Post Date:04/25/2018 4:09 pm

The Leader in Training (LIT) Program is a volunteer program designed to give teens the opportunity to work together with Recreation Leaders during Recreation’s summer programming. The LIT program is intended to help young adults develop leadership skills and real-world job experience by working directly with Recreation Leaders and Coordinators. When volunteering, all of our LITs are expected to lead different activities, and positively contribute to summer programming. Previous LIT’s have said, “My favorite thing about the program was that I actually got to help out and experience new things, I felt responsible”. For more specific information about the LIT Program visit www.cupertino.org/teens.

Recreation and Community Services NEW Junior Swim Instructor (JSI) Program is designed to give teens the ability to work together with swim instructors. The JSI Program is intended to help young adults develop leadership skills and real-world job experience by working directly with fellow swim instructors. When volunteering, all JSIs are expected to help teach kids to swim and positively contribute to a safe swim lesson environment. For more information, you can visit www.cupertino.org/teens.
