Petty Theft - Homestead Road      

Between 10:00 AM and 3:30 PM on 4/10, unknown suspect(s) cut a lock and took a bicycle from a bike rack at Homestead High School on Homestead Road for a total loss of about $700.

Residential Burglary - Hazelbrook Drive
Between 8:00 AM on 4/14 and 6:15 AM on 4/18, unknown suspect(s) pried open the front door of a residence in the 21000 block of Hazelbrook Drive.  Nothing was taken from the residence.

(ARREST) Shoplifting, Possession of Burglary Tool, a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia - Homestead Road
At 4:00 PM on 4/19, deputies made contact with a shoplifting suspect inside Safeway in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road.  An investigation revealed the suspect had about $20 of unpaid Safeway merchandise in her purse, and about $15 of unpaid merchandise from Stein Mart in the same shopping center.  The suspect was also in possession of a burglary tool, Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  The suspect was cited and released. 

Recovered Stolen Vehicle - Homestead Road and Franco Court     
At 4:25 PM on 4/19, while patrolling the area of Homestead Road and Franco Court, deputies received a LoJack hit and ultimately recovered a vehicle, previously stolen from San Bruno. The suspect(s) are unknown and at large.

(ARREST) Possession of Controlled Substances for Sales - Homestead Road
At 2:52 PM on 4/20, deputies made contact with a wanted suspect in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road.  An investigation revealed the suspect was in possession of Heroin and Methamphetamine for sales, in addition to having outstanding federal and local warrants.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

(ARREST) Shoplifting, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Homestead Road
At 3:45 PM on 4/20, the suspect took about $219 of store merchandise, without paying, from Safeway in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road.  Further investigation revealed the suspect was in possession of drug paraphernalia.  The suspect was cited and released.

(ARREST) Possession of Misappropriated Property, Burglary Tools, and Drug Paraphernalia - N. De Anza Boulevard
At 12:04 AM on 4/23, deputies made contact with the occupants of a suspicious vehicle parked at the Cupertino Inn on N. De Anza Boulevard.  An investigation revealed the suspect driver and passenger were in possession of misappropriated property, burglary tools and drug paraphernalia.  One suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.  The other fled the scene, but is known and at large.

Petty Theft - Homestead Road     
Between 7:50 AM and 4:00 PM on 4/24, unknown suspect(s) cut a lock and took a bicycle and a helmet from a bike rack at Homestead High School on Homestead Road for a total loss of about $922.

(ARREST) Shoplifting, Possession of Stolen Property and Controlled Substances - Homestead Road
At 6:16 PM on 4/24, deputies made contact with the occupants of a suspicious vehicle parked near Rite Aid in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road.  An investigation revealed three suspects shoplifted from Safeway and were in possession of other stolen property, in addition to Heroin, Methamphetamine and Xanax.  One suspect also had outstanding warrants.  All three suspects were cited and released. 

(ARREST) Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia - Homestead Road
At 2:40 PM on 4/26, deputies made contact with the driver of a suspicious vehicle parked near Safeway in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road.  An investigation revealed the suspect was in possession of Methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia.  The suspect was cited and released.

(ARREST) Possession of Controlled Substances and Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest - Homestead Road
At 4:31 PM on 4/27, deputies made contact with the occupant of a suspicious vehicle parked in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road.  An investigation revealed the suspect occupant was in possession of Heroin, Methamphetamine, and related drug paraphernalia, in violation of the suspect’s parole.  The suspect resisted arrest, but was ultimately taken into custody and booked into Main Jail. 

Vehicle Burglary - N. De Anza Boulevard          
Between 7:45 PM and 9:39 PM on 4/27, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of three vehicles parked at Mandarin Gourmet on N. De Anza Boulevard and took assorted items for a total loss of about $4,300.

Commercial Burglary - N. De Anza Boulevard  
Between 5:00 AM and 5:07 AM on 4/16, unknown suspect(s) entered the parish hall of St. Joseph’s Church on N. De Anza Boulevard using a tool to break a door lock.  The suspect(s) attempted to break into an ATM machine inside the hall, but were unsuccessful.  

Vehicle Burglary - N. De Anza Boulevard          
Between 10:30 PM on 4/27 and 1:00 AM on 4/28, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse on N. De Anza Boulevard and took a laptop for a total loss of about $2,000

Vandalism - Apple Parkway          
Between 7:45 AM and 4:00 PM on 4/13, unknown suspect(s) scratched a vehicle parked in an underground parking garage at Apple on Apple Parkway.  The total amount of damage was estimated to exceed $500.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road
Between 8:00 PM and 8:59 PM on 4/16, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of two vehicles parked near the Duke of Edinburgh in the Cupertino Village shopping center on N. Wolfe Road and took two bags, each containing a laptop, for a total loss of about $6,100.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road
Between 10:00 PM and 10:52 PM on 4/17, unknown suspect(s) broke through the rear windows of a vehicle parked in the Cupertino Village shopping center and took a backpack containing a camera, cash and clothes for a total loss of about $4,220.

Commercial Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard        
Between 11:12 AM and 11:17 AM on 4/19, unknown suspect(s) entered the AT&T Wireless store on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took 6 boxes of Beats headphones for a total loss of about $1,100.

Defrauding a Restaurant - Stevens Creek Boulevard 
At 9:14 PM on 4/20, unknown suspects finished dinner at Alexander’s Steakhouse in the Main Street Cupertino shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard, and then exited the restaurant without paying for a total loss of about $756.

Vandalism - Stevens Creek Boulevard   
At 2:00 PM on 4/21, an unknown suspect scratched or keyed an offensive word on the victim’s vehicle after an altercation over parking in the parking garage at Main Street Cupertino on Stevens Creek Boulevard.  The total amount of damage was about $3,000. 

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road
Between 11:10 AM and 11:18 AM on 4/24, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked near 99 Ranch Market in the Cupertino Village shopping center on N. Wolfe Road.  The trunk latch was engaged, the trunk searched, but nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Commercial Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard        
At 2:25 PM on 4/24, the suspect took about $981 of store merchandise from Target at Main Street Cupertino on Stevens Creek Boulevard.  The suspect is known and at large.  The suspect’s accomplice and getaway driver is unknown and at large.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road
Between 3:00 PM and 4:16 PM, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked near the Benihana restaurant at Vallco Mall on N. Wolfe Road and took a wallet for a total loss of about $400.

(ARREST) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - McClellan Road
At 9:40 AM on 4/16, deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle call at McClellan Ranch on McClellan Road.  An investigation revealed the suspect occupant in the vehicle was in possession of drug paraphernalia, in violation of the suspect’s probation.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Commercial Burglary - Donegal Drive
Between 9:10 PM on 4/20 and 7:40 AM on 4/21, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence under construction in the 7500 block of Donegal Drive by prying open a sliding glass door and took tools for a total loss of about $3,000.

Theft by False Pretenses – City of Cupertino
On 4/11, the victim found a residence for rent through an online posting and made contact with unknown suspect(s) for the purpose of securing the residence for six weeks.  The victim wired about $1,000 to an unknown bank account and never heard from the suspect(s) again.  The victim lives in Cupertino. 

Attempted Commercial Burglary - S. De Anza Boulevard
At 4:10 AM on 4/25, unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter KML Pharmacy on S. De Anza Boulevard by using a pry tool on a rear door to the business.  The suspect(s) also attempted to kick the door open, but were unsuccessful.

Grand Theft - Aster Court
Between 7:00 PM on 4/27 and 8:00 AM on 4/28, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 1400 block of Aster Court and took a backpack, cash, a laptop and a speaker for a total loss of about $1,160.

Commercial Burglary, Grand Theft - Stevens Creek Boulevard         
Between 3:30 PM and 5:15 PM on 4/25, unknown suspect(s) took a wallet from the victim’s purse while the victim shopped at Home Goods on Stevens Creek Boulevard and used the victim’s credit cards to make fraudulent purchases for a total loss of about $2,388.

(ARREST) Embezzlement - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 12/14/17 and 3/15/18, the suspect, who was employed at First Tech Federal Credit Union on Stevens Creek Boulevard, embezzled over $21,000 from the victim’s bank account.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Vandalism - S. Blaney Avenue    
Between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM on 4/16, unknown suspect(s) pried open mailboxes at the Biltmore Apartments on S. Blaney Avenue.  The total amount of damage was about $800.  It is unknown if any mail was taken.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard    
Between 9:15 PM and 10:40 PM on 4/17, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked near Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ in the Marketplace shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a backpack containing a laptop for a total loss of about $1,300.

Theft by Credit Card – City of Cupertino
Between 4/19 and 4/23, unknown suspect(s) made fraudulent charges using the victim’s EDD debit card for a total loss of about $105.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

(ARREST) Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia, Suspended DL - Interstate 280 and Lawrence Expressway
At 12:23 AM on 4/19, deputies stopped a motorist in the area of Interstate 280 and Lawrence Expressway for a traffic violation.  An investigation revealed the suspect driver was in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, in addition to driving with a suspended driver’s license.  The suspect was cited and released.

Commercial Burglary - E. Estates Drive  
Between 12:50 AM and 12:53 AM on 4/19, unknown suspect(s) entered the Heartland Society store in the Idlewild Shopping Center on E. Estates Drive by prying open the rear door of the business and took a cash register and a computer for a total loss of about $1,000.                                  

Theft by False Pretenses, Possession of Fake ID - Sorenson Avenue and Finch Avenue
At 3:00 PM on 4/19, the victim, who responded to a car for sale advertisement posted online, met the suspect near Sorenson Avenue and Finch Avenue for the purpose of inspecting the vehicle and giving the suspect a cash deposit to secure the sale.  The suspect showed the victim a fake driver’s license, which had the suspect’s photograph but false identifying information, and took about $5,000 from the victim as a deposit.  The suspect could not be reached thereafter, has not provided the vehicle or returned the money.  The suspect is unknown and at large. 

(ARREST) Under the Influence of and Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia - Stevens Creek Boulevard and Finch Avenue
At 12:23 AM on 4/20, deputies stopped a motorist at Stevens Creek Boulevard and Finch Avenue for a traffic violation.  An investigation revealed the suspect motorist was under the influence of a controlled substance, and was in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Stolen Vehicle - Blazingwood Avenue
At 4:49 AM on 4/22, unknown suspect(s) stole a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Blazingwood Avenue. The vehicle had an unknown value.

Attempted Residential Burglary- Candlewood Drive
At 5:16 AM on 4/22, unknown suspect(s) kicked open the front door of a residence in the 800 block of Candlewood Drive, but did not enter house and fled the scene upon hearing the victim resident scream.

Commercial Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard        
Between 2:20 AM and 2:54 AM on 4/26, unknown suspect(s) broke open a lock box attached to the Q Salon and Spa on Stevens Creek Boulevard, and used the key contained in that lock box to enter the business.  The suspect(s) ransacked the salon and took equipment and products for a total loss of about $1,500.

Grand Theft - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM on 4/26, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the Marketplace shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a backpack containing a homeport and a laptop for a total loss of about $1,850.

Vehicle Burglary - E. Estates Drive         
Between 8:40 PM and 9:45 PM on 4/27, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked on E. Estates Drive in front of the Red Hot Wok restaurant and took backpacks, laptops and a wallet for a total loss of about $7,500.

Petty Theft - Wunderlich Drive     
Between 8:45 AM and 9:00 AM on 4/28, unknown suspect(s) took groceries from the front porch of a residence in the 10000 block of Wunderlich Drive for a total loss of about $61.

Petty Theft, Theft by Credit Card - Wunderlich Drive   
Between 5:00 PM on 4/28 and 10:00 AM on 4/29, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the 10000 block of Wunderlich Drive and took a wallet.  The suspect(s) used a credit card from the wallet to make a fraudulent purchase for an unknown total loss.

Stolen Vehicle - Gascoigne Drive
Between 6:00 PM on 4/28 and 9:30 AM on 4/29, unknown suspect(s) stole a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of Gascoigne Drive.  The vehicle had an unknown value.

Stolen Vehicle - Blaney Avenue 
Between 10:00 PM on 4/28 and 11:00 AM on 4/29, unknown suspect(s) stole a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Blaney Avenue.  The vehicle had an unknown value.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle - Gascoigne Drive   
At 11:00 AM on 4/29, deputies recovered a vehicle, previously stolen from Cupertino, in the 10000 block of Gascoigne Drive.  The suspect(s) are unknown and at large.
