Welcome, the Code Enforcement Division is responsible for enforcing the provisions of the Cupertino Municipal Code (CMC). CMC provisions that are overseen by Code Enforcement include graffiti, abandoned or wrecked vehicles, accumulation of garbage and other debris, and noise issues involving construction and/or animals. Code Enforcement attempts to obtain compliance with the CMC through intervention, education, and enforcement. The Code Enforcement Division operates seven days a week and include a staff of three full-time officers in addition to one part-time officer. Special assignments include bicycle patrol of parks and residential neighborhoods during the spring and summer and a weekend enforcement program addressing illegally placed temporary signs.
Sheriff's Services
The City of Cupertino contracts with the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office for police services. This arrangement allows the City to access a large pool of resources while saving on costs related to managing its own police department. The County Sheriff's Westside Substation is located at:
