CALMAX - A free service designed to help businesses find markets for nonhazardous materials they have traditionally discarded. CalMAX helps businesses, industries, and institutions save resources and money. http://www.ciwmb.ca.gov/CalMAX//

Center for Development of Recycling (CDR) - A non-profit, university-based recycling resource for Santa Clara County. http://recyclestuff.org/CDR.asp

County of Santa Clara Household Hazardous Waste Program (HHW) - Mission is to protect the environment and public health from the effects of improper disposal of hazardous waste from Santa Clara County homes and small businesses. This service provides the community with practical pollution prevention options for the use, recycling, and disposal of products containing hazardous substances. www.hhw.org

Cupertino Free - Cupertino Free is open to those that have something they no longer need or want. It's a great way to unload items you have around the house that someone else in the community would enjoy, rather than sending it to local landfills. ALL not-for-profit groups are welcome. Our intention is to lend a helping hand to a neighbor in need, build community spirit and be environmentally responsible.

Build It Green - A professional non-profit membership organization whose mission is to promote healthy, energy and resource-efficient buildings in California. Build It Green connects consumers and building professionals with the tools and technical expertise they need to build quality green buildings. http://www.builditgreen.org/

Santa Clara Valley Urban Runoff Pollution Prevention Program (SCVURPPP) - Cupertino is a member of the Santa Clara Valley Urban Runoff Pollution Prevention Program. The Program is an association of thirteen cities and towns in the Santa Clara Valley, together with the County of Santa Clara and the Santa Clara Valley Water District. Program participants share a common permit to discharge storm water to South San Francisco Bay, California. www.scvurppp.org

Watershed Watch Campaign - Watershed Watch is the campaign developed by the members of SCVURPPP (see above) to raise awareness about how all living things depend on the protection of our watersheds. www.watershedwatch.net

Our Water Our World - This website has been developed to assist consumers in managing home and garden pests in a way that helps protect our water - our world. www.ourwaterourworld.org/

San Francisco Estuary Project - This project is part of the State’s regional Water Board for all San Francisco Bay cities, including Cupertino. sfep.abag.ca.gov
