STREAMSIDE PERMITTING

The City is responsible for reviewing all development activities near streams, to ensure that stream resources are adequately protected. A Streamside Protection Area trigger has been established for this purpose. The Streamside Protection Area includes all properties abutting or in proximity to a stream, including all properties within 50 feet from the top of bank. Activities occuring within this area will be subject to review according to the Guidelines and Standards for Land Use Near Streams, and a Streamside Permit will need to be obtained from the City.

For more information contact, David Stillman at 408.777.3249.
