    CUPERTINO
TRANSPORTATION NETWORK

In the City of Cupertino truck routes are designated for the transport of goods and materials to businesses and industries. Truck routes are found on De Anza Boulevard, Stevens Creek Boulevard, Wolfe Road, Homestead Road, Pruneridge Avenue, Tantau Avenue, and Foothill Boulevard.

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority(VTA) provides public transit services for the City of Cupertino. The VTA has express bus routes serving the Vallco Fashion Park Mall. They also have regular bus routes throughout the City.

The street network in Cupertino consists of freeways, arterials, major collectors, minor collectors, and local streets. Our freeways are Interstate Route 280 and State Route 85. Arterials include De Anza boulevard, Stevens Creek Boulevard, Wolfe Road, and Homestead Road. The streets provide access to our businesses, industries, and neighborhoods in our community.

The City's bikeways network consists of bike paths, bike lanes and bike routes. The network provides a safe access for bikers. Staff is also developing the Stevens Creek Recreational Trail, Union Pacific Railroad Trail and the San Tomas Aquino-Saratoga Creek Trail. These trails will provide north south bike travel in the future.

The Cupertino Bicycle Transportation Plan is the City's master plan of programs and projects to promote bicycling for commuting, utility and recreation.
