Many types of recyclable materials can also be delivered to the Sunnyvale Materials Recovery Station (SMART Station) for recycling, by Cupertino residents and businesses-at no charge. You can also receive deposit money for California Redemption Value (CRV) bottles and cans.

The SMART Station is located at the far north end of Borregas Ave. (cross streets: Caribbean/Carl Rd) in Sunnyvale.

However, they will not accept the following materials from Cupertino residents or businesses:

• Used motor oil
• Used oil filters
• Used antifreeze
• Car batteries
