Fee Waiver Assistance

Creating A Positive, Healthy, Connected Community

Universal access to public parks and recreation is our department's goal. Every day we are working hard to ensure that all members of our community have access to the resources and programming we offer.

West Valley Community Services

The City has a partnership with West Valley Community Services through the Fee Waiver Assistance Program. Available to Cupertino Residents only, those who are interested should contact West Valley to setup an appointment, at 408.255.8033.

Once the applicant is approved by West Valley Community Service, customers then need to bring the completed registration form to the Quinlan Community Center front office to finalize the registration. For further questions or clarifications please contact the City of Cupertino's Recreation department at 408.777.3120.

Stay Active Fund Program

The Stay Active Fund is about helping adults 50 plus to remain active, engages, and participating in the Cupertino Senior Center. This fund provides assistance to offset the cost for senior center membership and registration for classes and events. The Stay Active Fund is available each year from November 1 to June 30, or until the funds are spent.

Membership Assistance

The membership scholarship requires that the member pays $15, and then the scholarship fund will cover the additional fee based on the member's residency. To request participation in this program, please fill out the membership application, and then drop off the application and $15.00 payment at the Senior Center Front Desk for the Recreation Supervisor to process.

Class Registration Assistance

The class and event scholarship is where a member may request, once a year, for a scholarship and is required to pay 50% of the program fee for a class or event, not to exceed $20. The scholarship fund will pay the other 50% of the fee, not to exceed $20. To request participation in the Stay Active Fund, please contact the Senior Center at 408-777-3150.
