Door-to-Door Household Hazardous Waste Program for Cupertino residents only - Call Wm At Your Door services (800) 449-7587, or visit WM At Your Door Services to set up an appointment for Residential Pickup of Electronic Waste, Sharps and Household Chemicals, such as household cleaners, paint, fertilizers, thermometers, propane tanks, paint, pool and spa chemicals. Pharmaceuticals will not be collected in the City’s door-to-door collection program at this time. You can dispose of your medications at West Valley Patrol Sub-Station, 1601 S. Residents will be provided a 16-gallon bag and kit to ensure safe containment of hazardous waste. Sealed bags will be placed outside the home, safe from the weather (e.g., on a covered porch) for pickup and environmentally-safe disposal by Curbside Inc.

Please Note: If the WM At Your Door Services does not accept specific items, but the Santa Clara County Household Hazardous Waste Program does, then the City will allow a Cupertino resident to participate in the County HHW program.  Residents must first contact the City for approval at (408) 777-3354 or environmental@cupertino.org

It's a great way to unload items you have around the house that someone else in the community would enjoy, rather than sending it to local landfills. ALL not-for-profit groups are welcome. - The Santa Clara Valley Urban Runoff Pollution Prevention Program (Program) is an association of thirteen cities and towns in the Santa Clara Valley, together with Santa Clara County and the Santa Clara Valley Water District.
