CREATING A POSITIVE, HEALTHY, CONNECTED COMMUNITY

Director of Parks & Recreation, Mark LinderOur Mission

"The City of Cupertino Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing opportunities, resources, and services to the community to enhance the quality of people’s lives through recreational, educational, and cultural experiences."

Recreation is an essential part of our daily lives. The department’s mission statement aligns with the department’s overall vision to provide a positive, healthy, connected community through a vast variety of programs, quality facilities, and special events.

Whether you are new to our community or a long-time resident, we hope that you and your family will utilize and visit our numerous facilities and register for one of our many programs that are offered to individuals of all ages.

Volunteer opportunities abound and we welcome citizens to take part in one of two city council appointed commissions: Parks and Recreation Commission and the Teen Commission.

Delivering exceptional customer service to our diverse community is a key component to our success, so we embrace the opportunity to improve our service.
