Rent a Group Picnic Area

Creating A Positive, Healthy, Connected Community

The City of Cupertino has many beautiful parks for you and your families to enjoy. There are a multitude of small picnic areas available on a first-come first-served basis. In addition, the following picnic areas are available for groups up to 136. For even larger groups, please take a look at our facilities at Blackberry Farm: 

Linda Vista Upper Picnic Area

Linda Vista Dr near Columbus Ave

Capacity: 136 people
Amenities: 17 picnic tables, two large serving tables, one  large barbecue pit, and electricity (at an additional fee). The picnic area is partially shady. The park features a children’s play area, a par course, a large open grass area, and restrooms.
Hours: The picnic area can be reserved from 10am to one hour after sunset.

Memorial Picnic AreaMemorial Park
Stevens Creek Blvd at Mary Ave

Capacity: 113 people
Amenities: 11 rectangular picnic tables, five round picnic tables, one large barbecue pit, two small barbecue pits, one sink and counter area, and electricity (at an additional fee). Attractions at the 28-acre Memorial Park include a children’s play area, tennis courts, a softball field (at an additional fee), an open grass area, and restrooms.
Hours: The picnic area can be reserved from 10am to 10pm.


Portal Picnic Area

Portal Park
10225 N Portal Ave (off Stevens Creek Blvd)

Capacity: 80 people
Amenities: Ten picnic tables, one large barbecue pit, two small barbecue pits. This picnic area is very shady. Portal Park features a children’s play area, an open grass area, and restrooms. 
Hours: The picnic area can be reserved from 10am until one hour after sunset.

Reservations must be made at least seven days in advance. You may reserve any of these picnic areas in person at the Quinlan Community Center, located at 10185 N. Stelling Rd, Cupertino (please note hours listed below).  Proof of residency required for Cupertino residents in the form of a current utility bill, a driver's license with your Cupertino address, or a check imprinted with your Cupertino address. Please call 408.777.3120 or email for further information. Monday thru Thursday: 8:00am-10:00pm
Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Saturday: 8:30am-4:30pm
Sunday: Closed
