The Recreation & Community Services Department is committed to partnering with local civic organizations to produce outstanding community and cultural festivals at Memorial Park.

The Recreation & Community Service Department is introducing a new Special Event Application and Information Packet for Community and Cultural Events at Memorial Park. 

Event Organizers interested in holding a festival at Memorial Park should first review the City's Memorial Park Festival Policy, current Events Calendar, and the Special Events Information & Application. This information will allow applicants to assess available event dates, review event requirements, and understand the event planning process, from submitting an annual application to evaluating an event.

Applicants interested in having special event permit fees and City staffing costs waived should submit an application by January 2018 for the following July 2018 to June 2019 fiscal year. The City's special events fee waivers are brought to the City Council for review and approval as part of the budget process each May.
