Vallco SB 35 Update: FAQ's Available Online Now
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are now available to inform the community on SB 35 and explain how it relates to the Vallco SB 35 Application at the project website www.cupertino.org/vallcosb35.
The City received the “Vallco Town Center Project Application pursuant to SB 35” on March 27, 2018, and additional clarifying information on June 1, 2018, and June 19, 2018. The project proposes 2,402 housing units (of which 1,201 units are affordable to very-low and low income households.) The project also proposes approximately 400,000 square feet of retail uses and 1.81 million square feet of office uses.
Please note that while the SB35 application is under review, a concurrent specific plan process is underway with the property owner's support which provides a path for community members to refine project options and identify preferences. It also presents an opportunity to negotiate a development agreement with desired community benefits. The community is encouraged to stay engaged in the design and planning process of the Vallco Special Area Specific Plan as well.
