Sustainability Speaker Series: Electrification as a Solution to Climate Change

The City of Cupertino along with the Cupertino Sustainability Commission will be hosting the second speaker in its Sustainability Speaker Series on Thursday, October 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cupertino Community Hall.

Professor Mark Jacobson discusses the development of technical and economic roadmaps to convert energy infrastructures of buildings, towns, cities, states, and countries to those powered with 100% wind, water, and sunlight electricity combined with storage and energy efficiency. Dr. Aimee Gotway Bailey will share Silicon Valley Clean Energy's efforts to procure carbon-free electricity and the vision to decarbonize.
