Grand Theft - Poppy Drive        
Between 3:56 PM and 6:00 PM on 12/20, unknown suspect(s) took a mail package from the doorstep of a residence in the 22000 block of Poppy Drive for a total loss of about $1,000.

Vandalism - Mann Drive               
Between 11:59 PM on 12/31 and 8:00 AM on 1/1, unknown suspect(s) slashed all four tires of a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of Mann Drive.  The total amount of damage was about $1,000.

Stolen Vehicle - N. Foothill Boulevard
Between 12:00 PM on 1/11 and 2:00 PM on 1/12, unknown suspect(s) stole a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of N. Foothill Boulevard.  The vehicle had an unknown value.

Commercial Burglary - Franco Court
Between 8:00 AM on 12/25 and 3:00 PM on 12/27, unknown suspect(s) cut a lock to a storage unit at Cupertino Safe Storage on Franco Court and took ceramic antiques for a total loss of about $3,400.

Commercial Burglary - Homestead Road               
Between 4:00 PM on 12/28 and 6:00 AM on 1/2, unknown suspect(s) cut a chain link fence and accessed a utility shed at Homestead High School on Homestead Road and took assorted tools for a total loss of about $2,135.

(ARREST) Possession of Stolen Property - Homestead Road and N. De Anza Boulevard
At 10:53 AM on 1/2, deputies stopped a motorist at Homestead Road and N. De Anza Boulevard for traffic violations.  An investigation revealed the suspect driver was driving a vehicle with a stolen registration tab affixed to the license plate.  The suspect was cited and released.

Petty Theft - Bandley Drive        
Between 12/15 and 1/5, unknown suspect(s) cut a lock and took a bicycle from a business complex in the 10000 block of Bandley Drive for a total loss of about $200.

(ARREST) Commercial Burglary, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia - Saich Way
At 8:22 PM on 1/6, loss prevention officers at Target on Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way reported a suspect shoplifter in the store. The suspect was responsible for stealing from multiple Target stores and took about $1,912 worth of merchandise without paying from the Target at Saich Way.  Deputies responded and detained the suspect.  Further investigation revealed the suspect was also in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, in addition to the stolen merchandise.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Commercial Burglary - Franco Court
Between 12/24 and 1/7, unknown suspect(s) cut locks and took two bicycles and an air compressor from a City of Cupertino corporate yard on Franco Court for a total loss of about $6,337.

Vehicle Burglary - Homestead Road        
Between 4:00 PM on 1/9 and 1:30 PM on 1/10, unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle parked at the Markham Apartments on Homestead Road using unknown means and took a cellular phone, GPS device, paperwork, prescription glasses and sunglasses for a total loss of about $210.

(ARREST) Possession of Stolen Vehicle - N. Stelling Road
At 10:39 AM on 1/10, deputies located a vehicle previously stolen from Fremont in the McDonald’s parking lot on N. Stelling Road and made contact with the suspect occupant.  The suspect was subsequently arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Stolen Vehicle - Homestead Road           
At 6:40 AM on 1/11, unknown suspect(s) stole a vehicle parked near Starbucks in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road.  The vehicle had an approximate value of $6,700.

Shoplifting - Homestead Road   
At 4:16 PM on 1/11, the suspect took about $800 of store merchandise without paying from the Rite Aid Pharmacy in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road.  The suspect fled the scene, is unknown and at large.

Passing Counterfeit Currency - Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way   
At 6:22 PM on 1/12, the suspect paid for merchandise with a counterfeit bill at Target on Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way.  The suspect fled the scene, is unknown and at large.

(ARREST) Shoplifting - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 12:39 PM on 1/15, the suspect took about $824 of store merchandise without paying from Whole Foods Market on Stevens Creek Boulevard. The suspect was cited and released.

(ARREST) Shoplifting - Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way
At 6:00 PM on 1/15, the suspect took about $479 of store merchandise without paying from Target on Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way.  The suspect was cited and released.

Commercial Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way    
At 9:08 PM on 1/16, the suspect entered Target on Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way and took about $1,047 of store merchandise without paying.  The suspect is unknown and at large.

Vehicle Burglary - Bandley Drive               
Between 6:30 PM and 7:35 PM on 1/17, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Apple Fitness Center on Bandley Drive and took a backpack containing a cellular phone, laptop and smart watch for a total loss of about $4,100.

(ARREST) Brandishing a Weapon, Delay Peace Officer - Valley Green Drive
At 8:50 AM on 1/18, deputies responded to a disturbance call at an apartment in the 20000 block of Valley Green Drive.  An investigation revealed the suspect brandished a knife at the victim.  The suspect did not follow commands from deputies, but was ultimately arrested and booked into Main Jail. 

Vehicle Burglary - Homestead Road        
Between 12:00 AM and 11:00 AM on 1/19, unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle parked in the 20000 block of Homestead Road using unknown means and took a phone charger, sunglasses, utility knife and vehicle registration paperwork for a total loss of about $265.

Vehicle Burglary - Infinite Loop 
Between 3:00 PM and 3:25 PM on 1/5, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at Apple on Infinite Loop and took backpacks and a handbag containing cash, electronics, jewelry and personal effects for a total loss of about $17,100.

Vehicle Burglary - N. De Anza Boulevard               
Between 12:30 PM and 1:45 PM on 1/8, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse on N. De Anza Boulevard and took backpacks containing electronics and other miscellaneous items for a total loss of about $8,430.

Vehicle Burglary - Infinite Loop 
Between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on 1/9, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at Apple on Infinite Loop.  The vehicle was searched, but nothing was taken.

Vehicle Burglary - Infinite Loop 
Between 11:45 AM and 12:04 PM on 1/9, unknown suspect(s) broke through two windows of a vehicle parked at Apple on Infinite Loop and took electronics for a total loss of about $10,350.

(ARREST) Possession of Nitrous Oxide - N. Wolfe Road
At 11:33 PM on 1/1, deputies made contact with the occupants of a vehicle unlawfully parked in a handicap stall in front of Apple Green Bistro in the Cupertino Village on N. Wolfe Road, and observed the two suspect occupants inhaling nitrous oxide.  Both were cited and released.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road             
Between 6:00 PM and 7:15 PM on 1/4, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle in the parking garage at the Cupertino Village shopping center on N. Wolfe Road and took luggage containing personal effects for a total loss of about $600.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road             
Between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM on 1/5, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Bay Club at Vallco Mall on N. Wolfe Road. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Organized Retail Theft - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 5:15 PM on 1/7, deputies responded to a shoplifting call at Target in the Main Street Cupertino shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard.  An investigation revealed the unknown suspect took store merchandise in excess of $950 without paying, was a chronic thief and part of an organized retail theft ring.  

(ARREST) False Information to Peace Officer, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Misappropriated Found Property - N. Wolfe Road
At 9:38 PM on 1/10, deputies made contact with the occupants of a suspicious vehicle parked at the Hilton Garden Inn on N. Wolfe Road.  An investigation revealed the suspect driver provided deputies with false identifying information to avoid detection of an outstanding warrant.  Further investigation revealed the suspect passenger was in possession of drug paraphernalia and credit and identification cards not belonging to him.  The suspect driver was arrested and booked into Main Jail, while the suspect passenger was cited and released.

Theft by Credit Card – City of Cupertino
On 10/18, unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s credit card information and made fraudulent purchases for a total loss of about $264.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Residential Burglary - Pruneridge Avenue            
Between 5:00 PM on 12/20 and 8:00 PM on 12/21, unknown suspect(s) entered the locked parking garage of an apartment complex in the 19000 block of Pruneridge Avenue using unknown means and took a bicycle rack for a total loss of about $420.

 Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road             
Between 4:00 PM on 1/16 and 6:28 AM on 1/17, unknown suspect(s) broke through multiple windows of a vehicle in the parking garage at the Cupertino Village shopping center on N. Wolfe Road and took clothing, food items and makeup for a total loss of about $380.

Vehicle Burglary - Bubb Road     
Between 10:00 AM and 10:50 AM on 12/31, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of Bubb Road.  It is unknown if anything was taken from the vehicle.

(ARREST) Vandalism - Alcazar Avenue
At 11:12 AM on 1/6, deputies responded to a disturbance call at a residence in the 21000 block of Alcazar Avenue.  An investigation revealed the suspect slashed the tires of the victim’s vehicle and keyed the exterior.  The total amount of damage was estimated to exceed $400.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle - Alcazar and Imperial Avenues            
At 3:23 PM on 1/7, deputies recovered a vehicle, previously stolen from Milpitas, at Alcazar and Imperial Avenues.  The suspect(s) are unknown and at large.

Grand Theft, Theft by Credit Card - McClellan Road         
On 1/9, unknown suspect(s) entered a locked gym locker at Monta Vista High School on McClellan Road using unknown means and took a cellular phone and a credit card.  The cellular phone had an approximate value of $1,000.  The suspect(s) also used the credit card to make fraudulent purchases online totaling approximately $80.

(ARREST) Possession of a Stolen Vehicle - S. De Anza Boulevard and Prospect Road
At 6:46 PM on 1/9, deputies stopped a motorist driving a vehicle, previously stolen from Los Altos, at S. De Anza Boulevard and Prospect Road.  The suspect driver was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

 (ARREST) Passing Counterfeit Currency - S. De Anza Boulevard
At 1:52 PM on 1/11, deputies responded to disturbance call at Jack in the Box on S. De Anza Boulevard.  An investigation revealed the suspect used a counterfeit bill in an attempt to purchase food.  The suspect was cited and released.

(ARREST) DUI, Possession of Controlled Substances - Gardenside Lane and Rainbow Avenue
At 2:00 AM on 1/13, deputies stopped a motorist at Gardenside Lane and Rainbow Avenue for traffic violations.  An investigation revealed the suspect driver was driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, and was in possession of assorted prescription pills, Cocaine and Marijuana.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

False Personation - Highway 85 and S. De Anza Boulevard            
At 10:31 PM on 1/15, deputies stopped a motorist at Highway 85 and S. De Anza Boulevard for traffic violations.  An investigation revealed the suspect driver signed a citation for the violations representing himself as another person.  The suspect is known and at large and the case will be submitted to the DA’s Office for the issuance of an arrest warrant.

Residential Burglary - November Drive  
Between 6:00 PM on 1/17 and 8:30 AM on 1/18, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 900 block of November Drive after cutting a window screen and opening an unlocked window.  Nothing was taken from the residence.

Shoplifting - Stevens Creek Boulevard   
At 3:38 PM on 12/31, the suspect took store merchandise totaling less than $950 from TJ Maxx on Stevens Creek Boulevard without paying. The suspect fled the scene, but is known and at large.

Residential Burglary - Shelly Drive            
Between 11:20 AM and 5:00 PM on 1/2, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 20000 block of Shelly Drive by kicking in the front door and took backpacks, cash and a passport for a total loss of about $1,600.

(ARREST) Under the Influence, Possession of a Controlled Substance without Prescription - S. De Anza Boulevard
At 8:45 PM on 1/4, deputies responded to CVS in the McClellan Square shopping center on S. De Anza Boulevard on report of possible shoplifters in the store.  Deputies made contact with two suspects and an investigation revealed one suspect was under the influence of a controlled substance, while the other suspect was in possession of Alprazolam without a prescription, in addition to having two outstanding warrants.  Both suspects were arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Commercial Burglary - Colony Hills Lane
Between 5:30 PM on 1/9 and 10:00 AM on 1/10, unknown suspect(s) cut through a fence at a residential construction site in the 1000 block of Colony Hills Lane and took tools for an unknown total loss.

(ARREST) Under the Influence, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 8:20 PM on 1/13, deputies responded to a disturbance call at Party City in the Cupertino Crossroads shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard.  An investigation revealed the suspect was under the influence of a controlled substance, in possession of Heroin, Xanax and drug paraphernalia, and had an outstanding warrant.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Vehicle Burglary - Westlynn Way             
Between 11:00 PM on 1/14 and 8:45 AM on 1/15, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Westlynn Way and took the vehicle’s antenna and front driver and passenger seats, in addition to a pair of sunglasses for a total loss of about $600.

Brandishing a Weapon - S. De Anza and Stevens Creek Boulevards
At 4:15 PM on 1/15, the suspect and victim motorists got into a road rage incident in the area of S. De Anza and Stevens Creek Boulevards whereby the suspect brandished either a firearm or hammer at the victim before fleeing the scene.  The suspect is known and at large.  The case will be submitted to the DA’s Office for review.

Vehicle Burglary - Bollinger Road
Between 5:50 PM and 6:34 PM on 1/14, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of five vehicles parked at the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road and took electronics and sports equipment for a total loss of about $8,921.

Residential Burglary - Stern Avenue  
Between 11:00 AM and 11:45 AM on 1/15, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 10000 block of Stern Avenue by forcing a side garage door open and then entering the residence through an unlocked door between the house and garage.  The suspect(s) took cash for a total loss of about $50,000.

Residential Burglary - Crabtree Avenue
Between 1:30 PM and 9:30 PM on 1/15, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 18000 block of Crabtree Avenue by prying a rear sliding glass door open.  The suspect(s) took cash and jewelry for a total loss of about $10,100.

Grand Theft -Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 6:50 AM and 7:55 AM on 1/18, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle parked near Hilti in the Loree Center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took tools for a total loss of about $6,900.

Vehicle Burglary - Bollinger Road              
Between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM on 1/3, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of three vehicles parked at Walgreen’s in the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road and took bags containing checkbooks, electronics, jewelry and personal effects for a total loss of about $5,850. 

Vehicle Burglary - S. Tantau Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard          
Between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM on 1/4, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at S. Tantau Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard.  The vehicle was ransacked, but nothing was taken.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard        
Between 12:00 PM and 12:41 PM on 1/5, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Marketplace shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a purse for a total loss of about $500.

(ARREST) Commercial Burglary - S. De Anza Boulevard
At 5:18 AM on 1/7, the suspect entered KFC on S. De Anza Boulevard after throwing a large brick through the front glass door and took frozen chicken tenders and potato wedges for an unknown total loss.  The suspect was apprehended a short time later after committing a residential burglary near the restaurant.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

(ARREST) Residential Burglary - S. Portal Avenue
At 7:21 AM on 1/7, deputies responded to a burglary call at a residence in the 10000 block of S. Portal Avenue and arrested the suspect on scene.  The suspect entered the residence through an unlocked rear sliding glass door.  Nothing was taken from the residence.  The suspect was booked into Main Jail.

Vehicle Burglary - Bollinger Road              
At 7:12 PM on 1/7, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of two vehicles parked near Walgreens in the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road and took electronics for a total loss of about $4,300.

Vehicle Burglary - Bollinger Road              
Between 7:15 PM and 8:03 PM on 1/8, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of four vehicles parked near TP Tea in the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road and took cash, electronics and a passport for a total loss of about $6,300.

Possession/Use of a Skimmer Device - S. De Anza Boulevard      
At 4:20 PM on 1/9, deputies responded to a call from Wells Fargo Bank on S. De Anza Boulevard where ATM technicians discovered a skimmer device and camera installed on an ATM.  It is unknown if there are any victims who sustained monetary loss.  The suspect(s) are unknown and at large.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard        
Between 7:30 PM and 8:48 PM on 1/9, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of seven vehicles parked at the Loree Center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a credit card, laptop, luggage and other miscellaneous items for a total loss of about $1,210.

Vehicle Burglary - Bollinger Road              
Between 6:40 PM and 7:30 PM on 1/11, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked near TP Tea in the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road and took a backpack containing a laptop for a total loss of about $2,300.

(ARREST) Fraudulent Registration Tab – Miller Avenue
At 10:53 AM on 1/12, deputies made contact with the occupant of a suspicious vehicle at Creekside Park on Miller Avenue.  An investigation revealed the suspect’s vehicle had a fraudulent registration tab affixed to the license plate.  The suspect was cited and released.
