BEAT AREA C1

Vehicle Burglary - Cristo Rey Drive           
Between 7:45 AM and 4:30 PM on 1/24, unknown suspect(s) broke the driver’s door locks of two vehicles parked at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Cristo Rey Drive.  Nothing was taken from either vehicle.

Forgery - City of Cupertino
On 1/30, the victim received information indicating unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s recently mailed check, then altered and cashed the check for an unknown total loss.  The victim lives in Cupertino. 

(ARREST) DUI, Non-Injury Hit and Run Collision, Battery on Peace Officer - Mann Drive and Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 6:39 PM on 1/31, deputies responded to a non-injury hit and run collision that occurred at Mann Drive and Stevens Creek Boulevard.  Deputies located the suspect driver in the 10000 block of Madera Drive and an investigation revealed the suspect was driving under the influence of alcohol.  The suspect became combative when detained and hit a deputy.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Commercial Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 6:05 AM on 1/21, unknown suspect(s) entered the Chaat House on Stevens Creek Boulevard by breaking the glass front door and took a register containing cash for a total loss of about $4,750.  The total amount of property damage was about $1,200.

Commercial Burglary - Homestead Road               
Between 5:00 PM on 1/26 and 8:22 AM on 1/27, unknown suspect(s) entered the maintenance office at the Markham Apartments on Homestead Road by prying the door open.  The suspect(s) also broke into a storage trailer and shed.  It is unknown if anything was taken.

 Shoplifting - Homestead Road   
At 9:03 PM on 1/26, two suspects took store merchandise valued at less than $950 without paying from Stein Mart in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road.  One suspect is known, the other is unknown and both are at large.
(ARREST) Delay Peace Officer, False Personation of Another, Possession of Misappropriated Property, Burglary Tools, Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia - Homestead Road
At 3:09 PM on 1/28, deputies responded to a suspicious persons call at Stein Mart in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road on report of someone trying to return stolen products.  Deputies made contact with the suspect, who refused to provide deputies with identifying information, and an investigation revealed that when the suspect did finally provide information, he was falsely personating someone else.  Further investigation revealed the suspect was in possession of a credit card not belonging to him, in addition to burglary tools, Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  The suspect also had an outstanding warrant.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.  

(ARREST) Shoplifting - Bandley Drive
At 6:47 PM on 1/28, the suspect took about $567 of store merchandise without paying from Marina Foods on Bandley Drive.  The suspect was cited and released.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard        
Between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on 1/30, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked near Hobees in the Oaks shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a backpack containing a cellular phone and a laptop for a total loss of about $1,400.

Vehicle Burglary - N. De Anza Boulevard               
Between 2:00 PM and 2:10 PM on 2/1, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at Bagel Street Café on N. De Anza Boulevard and took a backpack containing electronics and personal effects for a total loss of about $2,200.

Residential Burglary - Fargo Drive            
Between 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 20000 block of Fargo Drive by breaking a rear sliding glass door and took two firearms and three passports for a total loss of about $1,500.

(ARREST) Theft by Credit Card, Possession of Controlled Substance, Burglary Tools and Stolen Property, False ID to Peace Officer - N. De Anza Boulevard
At 8:21 PM on 2/2, deputies responded to a credit card fraud complaint at the Cupertino Hotel on N. De Anza Boulevard.  An investigation revealed four suspects rented and occupied a room there using the victim’s credit card information.  Further investigation revealed the suspects were in possession of burglary tools, Methamphetamine, a vehicle previously stolen from Citrus Heights, and stolen checks, credit cards and mail.  One suspect provided false identifying information to avoid detection of three outstanding warrants.  Another suspect was on parole and also had an outstanding warrant.  Three suspects were arrested and booked into Main Jail, while a fourth is known and at large.

(ARREST) Grand Theft, Organized Retail Theft, Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance - Homestead Road
At 5:30 PM on 2/3, four suspects entered Ulta Beauty in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road and took about $3,500 of store merchandise without paying.  One suspect was detained and an investigation revealed the suspect was under the influence of a controlled substance, was in violation of probation, and had five outstanding warrants.  The three other suspects are unknown and at large.

Residential Burglary - Meteor Drive        
Between 7:30 PM on 2/3 and 7:45 AM on 2/4, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 21000 block of Meteor Drive by breaking a rear sliding glass door.  It is unknown if anything was taken from the residence.

Vehicle Burglary - Bandley Drive               
Between 7:50 PM and 8:05 PM on 2/5, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Apple Fitness Center on Bandley Drive and took a backpack containing a laptop for a total loss of about $5,000.

(ARREST) Shoplifting - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 12:40 PM on 2/7, the suspect took about $537 of store merchandise without paying from Whole Foods Market on Stevens Creek Boulevard. The suspect was cited and released.

(ARREST) Petty Theft - Homestead Road
At 1:00 PM on 2/7, deputies responded to a call from school officials at Homestead High School on Homestead Road who had two students detained for taking property from backpacks in a locker room.  Both suspects were cited and released.

Robbery - N. De Anza Boulevard              
At 3:46 PM on 2/8, an unknown suspect entered the 76 gas station on N. De Anza Boulevard, asked the cashier for cigarettes, and when the victim employee turned around to get the cigarettes, the suspect took about $300 from the cash register, putting the victim in fear for his safety.

Between 8:00 PM and 8:45 PM on 2/8, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Apple Fitness Center on Bandley Drive and took a backpack containing a laptop for a total loss of about $2,000.

At 11:32 AM on 1/21, unknown suspect(s) took about $842 of store merchandise without paying from Apple on Infinite Loop.

Vehicle Burglary - Mariani Avenue          
Between 11:16 AM and 11:32 AM on 1/25, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of two vehicles parked at Apple on Mariani Avenue and took backpacks containing foreign driver’s licenses and passports for an unknown total loss.

(ARREST) Under the Influence, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Drug Paraphernalia and Misappropriated Property - N. De Anza Boulevard and Interstate 280
At 4:38 PM on 1/27, deputies responded to a suspicious person call in the area of N. De Anza Boulevard and Interstate 280.  An investigation revealed the suspect was under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a driver’s license not belonging to him.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Vehicle Burglary - Homestead Road        
Between 8:30 PM and 10:22 PM on 1/30, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked in the Oakmont Square shopping center on Homestead Road and took backpacks containing cash, clothing, laptops and passports for a total loss of about $6,650.

Commercial Burglary -Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 7:00 PM on 2/1 and 9:50 AM on 2/2, unknown suspect(s) entered the Evolution Bike Shop on Stevens Creek Boulevard, after breaking open a lockbox containing a key to business, and took six bicycles for a total loss of about $26,000. 

Petty Theft - Via Sorrento           
Between 3:26 PM and 6:00 PM on 1/30, unknown suspect(s) took two mail packages from the front porch of a residence in the 10000 block of Via Sorrento for a total loss of about $327.

Vehicle Burglary - Homestead Road        
Between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on 2/5, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked in the Oakmont Square shopping center on Homestead Road and took a suitcase containing personal effects for a total loss of about $1,250.

Vehicle Burglary - N. De Anza Boulevard               
Between 3:00 PM and 5:50 PM on 2/8, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse on N. De Anza Boulevard and took bags containing headphones and paperwork for a total loss of about $150.

Petty Theft - Maplewood Road
At 10:28 AM on 2/9, unknown suspect(s) took a mail package from the front doorstep of a residence in the 10000 block of Maplewood Road for a total loss of about $770.

 Vehicle Burglary - N. De Anza Boulevard               
Between 9:05 PM and 10:00 PM on 2/9, unknown suspect(s) broke through two windows of a vehicle parked at the Donut Wheel on N. De Anza Boulevard and took two purses for a total loss of about $180.

Theft by False Pretenses - Stevens Creek Boulevard      
Between 8:00 AM on 12/29 and 12:48 PM on 12/30, the suspect purchased video games at Target at Main Street Cupertino on Stevens Creek Boulevard, took the video games out of the cases, resealed the cases, and returned the video games the next day for a total loss of about $300.  The suspect is known and at large.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road             
Between 7:00 PM on 1/21 and 8:00 AM on 1/22, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Hilton Garden Inn on N. Wolfe Road.  Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

(ARREST) Possession of Misappropriated Found Property - Homestead and N. Wolfe Roads
At 11:25 PM on 1/23, deputies stopped a pedestrian at Homestead and N. Wolfe Roads for a traffic violation.  An investigation revealed the suspect pedestrian was in possession of a debit card that did not belong to him.  The suspect was cited and released.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road             
Between 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM on 1/26, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Bay Club at Vallco Mall on N. Wolfe Road and took a backpack containing first aid equipment for a total loss of about $200.

(ARREST) Shoplifting, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 5:19 PM on 1/28, deputies responded to a suspicious person call at Target at Main Street Cupertino on Stevens Creek Boulevard.  An investigation revealed the suspect took about $500 of store merchandise without paying and was in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, in violation of the suspect’s probation terms.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

(ARREST) Under the Influence and Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia - N. Wolfe Road and Vallco Parkway
At 10:07 AM on 2/4, deputies made contact with a pedestrian at N. Wolfe Road and Vallco Parkway.  An investigation revealed the suspect pedestrian was in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and was under the influence of a controlled substance.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard        
Between 7:25 PM and 9:30 PM on 2/8, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Metropolitan at Cupertino complex on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a laptop and music equipment for a total loss of about $2,400.

Between 10:15 AM and 12:57 PM on 1/25, the victim called an unknown phone number found online, believing it to be a phone number for Apple customer support.  Unknown suspect(s) told the victim to make several payments via gift cards.  The victim complied, but did not receive any services as promised, for a total loss of about $5,000.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on 1/6, unknown suspect(s) took the rear license plate from a vehicle while it was parked at an unknown location for an unknown total loss.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Theft by Credit Card - City of Cupertino
At 1:00 PM on 1/7, unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s credit card information to make a fraudulent purchase for a total loss of about $902.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Theft by False Pretenses - City of Cupertino       
On 1/9, the victim received a telephone call from unknown suspect(s) claiming to represent Apple, who informed the victim that the victim’s computer needed to be fixed and remote access and payment via gift cards was required for the service.  The victim complied for a total loss of about $1,000.  The victim lives in Cupertino. 

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard        
Between 7:53 PM and 8:53 PM on 2/4, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle in the rear parking lot for Stanley Square on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a backpack containing school supplies for a total loss of about $110.

Vehicle Burglary - Imperial Avenue         
Between 8:15 PM and 9:30 PM on 2/5, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of three vehicles parked at the Omei Academy on Imperial Avenue and took two purses containing cash, credit cards and drivers’ licenses for a total loss of about $2,480.

Between 4:00 PM on 1/17 and 9:30 AM on 1/21, unknown suspect(s) threw eggs at a residence in the 20000 block of McClellan Road causing damage.  The total amount of damage is unknown.

Commercial Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 12:13 PM on 1/23, unknown suspect(s) entered TJ Maxx in the Cupertino Crossroads shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took about $2,188 of store merchandise without paying.

(ARREST) Brandishing an Imitation Firearm, Registration Fraud - Stevens Creek Boulevard
 At 2:54 PM on 1/25, deputies responded to a suspicious persons call near Ike’s Love and Sandwiches on Stevens Creek Boulevard.  An investigation revealed two suspects were waving a plastic replica firearm in the air and had a paper plate covering a license plate that did not belong to the vehicle.  Both suspects were cited and released.

Vehicle Burglary - S. De Anza Boulevard
Between 8:05 PM and 8:48 PM on 1/25, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of two vehicles parked at the Ananda Bhavan Café on S. De Anza Boulevard.  Both vehicles were searched, but nothing was taken from either.

Petty Theft - Stevens Creek Boulevard 
Between 8:15 AM and 8:20 AM on 1/31, unknown suspect(s) took an unsecured bicycle left outside Starbucks in the Cupertino Crossroads shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard for a total loss of about $100.

Vehicle Burglary - S. De Anza Boulevard
Between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM on 1/31, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked in the De Anza Plaza shopping center on S. De Anza Boulevard.  Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Shoplifting - Stevens Creek Boulevard   
At 7:19 PM on 1/29, the suspect took about $288 of store merchandise without paying from TJ Maxx in the Cupertino Crossroads shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard. The suspect is known and at large.

Residential Burglary - Red Fir Court         
Between 5:00 PM and 6:20 PM on 2/5, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 10000 block of Red Fir Court by breaking a window and took jewelry for an unknown total loss.

(ARREST) Shoplifting - S. De Anza Boulevard
At 3:40 PM on 2/8, the suspect took about $12 of store merchandise without paying from CVS in the McClellan Square shopping center on S. De Anza Boulevard.  The suspect was cited and released.

Reckless Evading - Westlynn Way            
At 9:38 AM on 2/9, deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in the 900 block of Westlynn Way and attempted to stop the suspect vehicle, which an investigation revealed had lost or stolen license plates affixed to it, but the suspect driver recklessly evaded and the pursuit was terminated.  The suspect(s) are unknown and at large.

On 1/16, the victim received information indicating unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s personal information to open a cable service account for a total loss of about $503.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Identity Theft- City of Cupertino              
On 1/20, the victim received information indicating unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s personal information to open a cellular phone service account for an unknown total loss.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Vehicle Burglary - Bollinger Road              
Between 6:50 PM and 8:30 PM on 1/23, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of six vehicles parked at the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road and took a laptop and suitcase for a total loss of about $1,750.

Commercial Burglary - S. Blaney Avenue
Between 9:30 PM on 1/24 and 9:30 AM on 1/25, unknown suspect(s) entered QQ Noodle restaurant on S. Blaney Avenue by breaking a glass front door.  A tip jar containing an unknown amount of money was taken and the total amount of damage to the door was about $2,000.

(ARREST) Possession of a Controlled Substance - Bollinger Road and Martinwood Way
 At 3:35 PM on 1/26, deputies stopped a motorist at Bollinger Road and Martinwood Way for a traffic violation.  An investigation revealed the suspect driver and suspect passenger both had outstanding warrants, and the suspect passenger was also in possession of Methamphetamine, in violation of the suspect’s probation terms.  The suspect driver was cited and released, while the suspect passenger was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Vehicle Tampering - Wunderlich Drive   
Between 2:00 PM on 1/26 and 8:59 AM on 1/27, unknown suspect(s) took a wheel from a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of Wunderlich Drive for a total loss of about $400.

(ARREST) Possession of a Controlled Substance, Drug Paraphernalia and Misappropriated Property - Stevens Creek Boulevard and Stern Drive
 At 2:19 PM on 1/27, deputies made contact with a bicyclist in the area of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Stern Drive.  An investigation revealed the suspect bicyclist was in possession of Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and credit cards not belonging to him.  The suspect was cited and released.

Commercial Burglary - Miller Avenue     
Between 12/1 and 12/31, unknown suspect(s) entered a storage room at the Gardens of Fontainbleu Apartments on Miller Avenue by prying a door open and took two televisions for a total loss of about $1,300.

Petty Theft - S. Tantau Avenue
Between 4:00 PM on 1/27 and 11:00 AM on 1/28, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 10000 block of S. Tantau Avenue and took cash and paperwork for a total loss of about $25.

Vehicle Burglary - Judy Avenue
Between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM on 1/28, unknown suspect(s) entered two vehicles parked in the driveway of a residence in the 10000 block of Judy Avenue.  One vehicle was unlocked, and the suspect(s) cut the soft convertible top of the other.  Both vehicles were searched, but nothing was taken from either.

Petty Theft - Bollinger Road       
Between 5:40 PM and 7:00 PM on 1/28, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle parked near Walgreens in the Pacific Rim Shopping Center on Bollinger Road and took a purse containing a key fob and passport for a total loss of about $250. 

Attempted Residential Burglary - Rodrigues Avenue
Between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM on 1/28, unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter a residence in the 19000 block of Rodrigues Avenue by prying at a sliding glass door.  The suspect(s) did not gain entry.

(ARREST) Shoplifting - Bollinger Road
At 9:34 PM on 1/29, the suspect took about $117 of store merchandise without paying from Walgreens in the Pacific Rim Shopping Center on Bollinger Road.  The suspect was cited and released.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard        
Between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM on 1/30, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Loree Center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a backpack containing cash, paperwork, a wallet and work badge for a total loss of about $300.

Residential Burglary - E. Estates Drive    
Between 5:15 PM and 7:45 PM on 1/31, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 800 block of E. Estates Drive by prying a back door open and took a laptop and jewelry for a total loss of about $3,987.

Vehicle Burglary - Bollinger Road              
Between 6:50 PM and 7:20 PM on 1/31, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of two vehicles parked in the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road and took backpacks containing electronics for a total loss of about $4,900.

(ARREST) Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia - Miller Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 11:50 PM on 1/31, deputies stopped a pedestrian at Miller Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard for a traffic violation.  An investigation revealed the suspect pedestrian was in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  The suspect was cited and released.

Between 6:24 PM and 7:46 PM on 2/1, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of three vehicles parked in the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road and took a backpack containing a laptop from one of the vehicles for a total loss of about $1,700.

Between 1:00 PM and 8:30 PM on 2/2, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 10000 block of Stern Avenue by breaking a sliding glass door and took a watch for a total loss of about $13,000.

At 7:22 PM on 2/6, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked in the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road and took a bag containing a laptop for a total loss of about $1,517.

Between 1:00 PM and 4:15 PM on 2/8, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the East West Bank in the Portal Plaza on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a laptop for a total loss of about $800.

Between 6:00 PM on 2/8 and 8:00 PM on 2/9, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 19000 block of Rodrigues Avenue by breaking a sliding glass door and took jewelry for an unknown total loss.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard        
Between 8:45 PM and 9:30 PM on 2/9, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked in the Marketplace shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a backpack containing college textbooks for a total loss of about $680.

(ARREST) Registration Fraud - S. Blaney Avenue and John Drive
At 5:30 PM on 2/10, deputies stopped a motorist at S. Blaney Avenue and John Drive for expired registration.  An investigation revealed the suspect affixed a fraudulent registration tab to the vehicle’s license p
