BEAT AREA C1

Grand Theft - Homestead Road
Between 2:00 PM on 2/8 and 7:50 AM on 2/11, unknown suspect(s) cut a cable lock at a construction site in the 22000 block of Homestead Road and took tools for a total loss of about $1,354.

Identity Theft – City of Cupertino            
On 2/13, the victim received information indicating unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s personal information to place a hold on the victim’s mail and to apply for credit cards for an unknown total loss.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Vandalism, Discharge Firearm into Uninhabited Building - Homestead Road
Between 11:00 AM and 1:15 PM on 2/13, unknown suspect(s) discharged a firearm or pellet gun at an unoccupied building at Homestead High School on Homestead Road causing damage to the outer window pane.  The total amount of damage was about $1,500.

(ARREST) Vandalism - Homestead Road
At 1:10 PM on 2/12, the suspect jumped on the hood of the victim’s vehicle parked at Homestead High School on Homestead Road.  The total amount of damage was about $600.  The suspect was cited and released.

(ARREST) Assault with Deadly Force - N. Stelling and Homestead Roads
At 1:26 PM on 2/12, multiple suspects got into an altercation with the victim near McDonald’s at N. Stelling and Homestead Roads.  An investigation revealed five suspects assaulted the victim, resulting in injury.  The suspects were arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall.

Commercial Burglary - Homestead Road               
At 7:53 PM on 2/13, unknown suspects entered Ulta Beauty in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road and took about $5,695 of store merchandise without paying.

Attempted Residential Burglary - Acadia Court  
At 7:30 PM on 2/15, unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter a residence in the 20000 block of Acadia Court by breaking a sliding glass door, but fled the scene without gaining entry upon realizing the victim resident was home at the time.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road             
Between 4:15 PM and 6:00 PM on 2/17, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked near Benihana at Vallco Mall on N. Wolfe Road and took a purse containing cash, credit cards and a cellular phone for a total loss of about $2,500.

 (ARREST) Robbery, Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest - Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way
At 11:01 PM on 2/17, deputies responded to a disturbance call behind Target on Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way.  An investigation revealed the suspect took the victim’s phone by use of force, was under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of drug paraphernalia.  Upon contact with the suspect, the suspect resisted arrested but was ultimately detained.  Further investigation revealed the suspect also had an outstanding warrant.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Residential Burglary - Homestead Road
Between 3:00 PM on 11/1 and 12:27 PM on 2/18, unknown suspect(s) entered a locked storage shed for an apartment at the Valley Green Apartments on Homestead Road using unknown means and took a bicycle and air pump for a total loss of about $390.

Vehicle Burglary - N. De Anza Boulevard               
Between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM on 2/18, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of two vehicles parked at Apple on N. De Anza Boulevard and took a gym bag containing clothing and a laptop bag containing various computer cables for a total loss of about $140.

Commercial Burglary - Homestead Road               
At 8:53 PM on 2/21, three unknown suspects entered Ulta Beauty in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road and filled their bags with numerous bottles of perfume for an unknown total loss.

 Assault with a Deadly Weapon - Homestead Road. 
At 8:20 PM on 2/24, deputies responded to a disturbance call at the Homestead Bowl and X Bar on Homestead Road.  An investigation revealed the suspect struck the victim in the head with a bowling ball, causing injury to the victim.  The suspect is unknown and at large.

 Vandalism - Ann Arbor Drive      
Between 5:00 PM on 2/15 and 7:25 AM on 2/25, unknown suspect(s) broke a window at Garden Gate Elementary School on Ann Arbor Drive.  The total amount of damage was about $2,000.

Identity Theft – City of Cupertino            
On 3/2, the victim could not access his e-mail account and contacted unknown suspect(s) via a phone number found online, believed to be technical support for his e-mail service provider.  The victim provided the suspect(s) with remote access to his computer, and the suspect(s) then accessed the victim’s personal information for an unknown total loss.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Petty Theft, Theft by Credit Card - N. De Anza Boulevard             
Between 2:56 PM and 3:10 PM on 2/11, unknown suspect(s) took a purse from an unlocked vehicle parked at St. Joseph Elementary School on N. De Anza Boulevard.  The suspect(s) then used a credit card from the purse to make a fraudulent transaction for a total loss of about $625.

Stolen Vehicle - Forest Avenue
Between 6:30 PM on 2/17 and 7:30 AM on 2/18, unknown suspect(s) stole a vehicle from the driveway of a residence in the 20000 block of Forest Avenue.  The vehicle had an approximate value of $5,000.

Vehicle Burglary - Mariani Avenue          
Between 8:45 AM and 4:50 PM on 2/18, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at Apple on Mariani Avenue and took a backpack for a total loss of about $20.

Theft by Credit Card – City of Cupertino
On 2/6, unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s credit card information to make fraudulent purchases and obtained goods and services in excess of $950.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road             
Between 9:30 PM on 2/19 and 6:41 AM on 2/20, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Hilton Garden Inn on N. Wolfe Road.  The vehicle was searched, but no property was taken.

Petty Theft - Stevens Creek Boulevard 
At 12:29 PM on 2/22, an unknown suspect took the victim’s purse from an outdoor table while the victim dined at 85C Bakery Café on Stevens Creek Boulevard for a total loss of about $420.

Vehicle Burglary - Pruneridge Avenue   
Between 9:00 PM on 2/27 and 6:30 AM on 2/28, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Arioso Apartments on Pruneridge Avenue and took bags containing clothing and first aid supplies for a total loss of about $600.

 Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road             
Between 2:50 PM and 4:40 PM on 3/3, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked near the Ice Center at Vallco Mall on N. Wolfe Road and took a gym bag containing clothing for a total loss of about $365.

Theft by Credit Card - S. Foothill Boulevard         
At 11:49 AM on 11/20, an unknown suspect used a counterfeit credit card to purchase a bicycle at Cupertino Bike Shop on S. Foothill Boulevard for a total loss of about $2,834.

Residential Burglary - Madrid Road         
Between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM on 2/11, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 10000 block of Madrid Road through a kitchen window and took family heirlooms and jewelry for an unknown total loss.

Theft by Credit Card – City of Cupertino
Between 10:00 AM on 2/9 and 9:00 AM on 2/15, unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s credit card information to make multiple fraudulent transactions for a total loss of about $149.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Theft by False Pretenses – City of Cupertino      
Between 2:27 PM and 3:22 PM on 2/15, unknown suspect(s) e-mailed the victim claiming to be the victim’s boss and instructed the victim to buy gift cards and provide the codes to the cards.  The victim complied for a total loss of about $1,000, only to later learn it was a scam.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Commercial Burglary - Kingsbury Court
Between 6:30 PM on 2/15 and 8:10 AM on 2/18, unknown suspect(s) entered a residential construction site in the 7500 block of Kingsbury Court through an unlocked door and took tools for a total loss of about $2,960.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard        
Between 7:50 PM and 9:05 PM on 2/12, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked near Dish n’ Dash in the Cupertino Crossroads shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took laptops and luggage for a total loss of about $1,550.

Grand Theft - S. De Anza Boulevard        
Between 6:50 PM and 7:20 PM on 2/22, unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle parked near XLB Kitchen restaurant on S. De Anza Boulevard through a partially open window and took electronics and sunglasses for a total loss of about $3,210.

Petty Theft - S. De Anza Boulevard         
Between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM on 2/23, unknown suspect(s) took an unattended purse from a business suite at the De Anza Professional Center on S. De Anza Boulevard for a total loss of about $800.

Vehicle Burglary - S. De Anza Boulevard
Between 8:15 PM and 8:38 PM on 2/25, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of two vehicles parked near the 99 Ranch Market in the McClellan Square shopping center on S. De Anza Boulevard and took currency, electronics and a passport for a total loss of about $1,800.

Stolen Vehicle - S. Blaney Avenue           
Between 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM on 2/11, unknown suspect(s) stole a motorcycle parked at the Biltmore Apartments on S. Blaney Avenue. The motorcycle had an unknown value.

Vandalism - Sorenson Avenue  
Between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM on 2/15, unknown suspect(s) broke a window of a vehicle parked in the 19000 block of Sorenson Avenue.  The total amount of damage is unknown.

Identity Theft – City of Cupertino            
On 2/6, the victim received information indicating unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s personal information to create a bank account for an unknown total loss.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Mail Theft, Forgery - Judy Avenue          
Between 12:00 PM on 2/11 and 10:00 AM on 2/18, unknown suspect(s) took outgoing mail containing two checks from the mailbox of a residence in the 10000 block of Judy Avenue.  The suspect(s) then changed the payee fields on each check and cashed them for a total loss of about $3,202.

Residential Burglary - Morengo Drive     
Between 10:30 AM on 2/21 and 9:30 AM on 2/22, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 10000 block of Morengo Drive through an unlocked door and took a laptop for a total loss of about $1,500.

Residential Burglary - East Estates Drive
Between 7:07 PM and 7:11 PM on 2/22, unknown suspects entered a residence in the 800 block of East Estates Drive by breaking a rear sliding glass door.  The residence was searched, but no property was taken.

Vehicle Burglary - Bollinger Road              
Between 9:10 AM and 3:30 PM on 2/24, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the West Valley Church on Bollinger Road and took a laptop and a wallet for a total loss of about $900.

Identity Theft – City of Cupertino            
On 2/18, the victim received information indicating unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s personal information to apply for unemployment benefits for an unknown total loss.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Attempted Commercial Burglary - Miller Avenue             
Between 10:00 PM on 2/27 and 9:00 AM on 2/28, unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter a storage room at the Garden of Fontainbleu Apartments on Miller Avenue by prying at the door’s locks, but were unable to gain entry.

Residential Burglary - Menhart Lane       
At 8:48 PM on 3/1, deputies responded to an alarm call at a residence in the 10000 block of Menhart Lane.  An investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by breaking a rear sliding glass door.  The master bedroom was ransacked, but it is unknown what was taken.

Grand Theft, Theft by Credit Card - Stevens Creek Boulevard     
Between 2/18 and 3/2, unknown suspect(s) took a purse left at Panera Bread on Stevens Creek Boulevard.  The purse contained cash and credit cards for a total loss of about $1,080.  The suspect(s) then used the victim’s credit cards to make fraudulent purchases for a total loss of about $18,000.
