Welcome to the New

Welcome to the City of Cupertino’s redesigned website. Explore our new look and structure, which reflect the priorities and values of our local government and community. Check out our new and updated content.

The old website, which served us well for many years, has been retired to make way for this fresh approach to the City’s internet presence.

We’d love to hear your comments and feedback on the new via our Website Redesign Satisfaction Survey as we work to continually improve the site to give you the info and tools that you need.

Register for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Academy

Post Date:08/07/2019
When the next disaster strikes, what will you do to take care of yourself, your family, and your neighbors? Prepare for the next big earthquake or fire, and join the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) to learn the disaster response skills that can save lives in your home and neighborhood.
Using classroom and simulation-based education, CERT members learn how to assist others in the neighborhood or workplace immediately following an event when emergency responders may not be immediately available to help.  Taking CERT training is easy, fun, and a great way for your neighborhood to strengthen working and personal relationships that will be vital in responding to an emergency.
The CERT Academy is six nightly sessions and a final skills exercise. Students must attend all seven class meetings to receive a Certificate of Completion.
The September CERT Academy will be hosted in partnership with the City of Cupertino at the Quinlan Community Center on the following dates:
Sept 9 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sept 11 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sept 16 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sept 18 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sept 23 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sept 25 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sept 28 – 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
