BEAT AREA C1

Vehicle Burglary, Theft by Credit Card - Cristo Rey Drive 
Between 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM on 7/28, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at Rancho San Antonio park on Cristo Rey Drive and took a purse containing cash, a cellular phone and credit cards for a loss of about $1,370.  The suspect(s) then used the credit cards to make fraudulent purchases for an unknown total loss.

Theft by False Pretenses, Theft by Credit Card – City of Cupertino             
At 3:10 PM on 8/2, the victim received a phone call from unknown suspect(s) claiming to work for Apple, who stated the victim’s billing information needed to be updated and that remote access to the victim’s computer would be needed to complete the process, in addition to money for the service via a gift card, to which the victim complied.  The suspect(s) acquired the victim’s bank and credit information after gaining remote access to the victim’s computer and made fraudulent purchases using the victim’s credit accounts for a total loss of about $600.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

 Vehicle Burglary, Reckless Evading - Madera Drive            
At 3:04 AM on 8/8, deputies responded to an in-progress burglary call in the 10000 block of Madera Drive on report of two suspects breaking into a car.  Deputies located the suspect vehicle fleeing the scene and attempted to stop it, but the suspect driver failed to yield and recklessly evaded.  One suspect is known and the second is unknown; both are at large.

 Attempted Residential Burglary - Vista Knoll Boulevard
At 9:35 PM on 8/8, deputies responded to an in-progress burglary call at a residence in the 10000 block of Vista Knoll Boulevard.  An investigation revealed unknown suspects attempted to enter the residence by breaking a window, but fled the scene without gaining entry upon realizing victims were home at the time.

Petty Theft - N. Stelling Road      
Between 8:00 AM on 7/30 and 8:00 AM on 7/31, unknown suspect(s) entered the parking garage at the Markham Apartments on N. Stelling Road, cut a lock and took a bicycle secured to a cement pole for a total loss of about $540.

(ARREST) Trespassing, Attempted Shoplifting, Resist/Delay Officer - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 7:01 PM on 7/31, deputies responded to a disturbance call at Whole Foods Market on Stevens Creek Boulevard.  An investigation revealed the suspect was trespassing after previous admonishments not to return to the premises.  Further investigation revealed the suspect also attempted to steal about $15 worth of food from the store.  The suspect, who resisted arrest, was ultimately detained, arrested and booked into Main Jail.

 Vehicle Burglary - Homestead Road        
Between 5:00 PM and 9:43 PM on 8/1, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked near Homestead Bowl in the Homestead Center on Homestead Road and took computer accessories, earbuds and a laptop for a total loss of about $2,260.

Commercial Burglary, Organized Retail - Theft Stevens Creek Boulevard 
At 4:05 PM on 8/3, unknown suspects entered the Verizon store in the Bottegas Cupertino shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took store merchandise without paying for a total loss of about $1,730. 

Shoplifting - Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way          
At 10:40 AM on 8/5, the suspect took about $485 of store merchandise without paying from Target on Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way.  The suspect is unknown and at large.

Misappropriation of Property -N. Stelling Road  
Between 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM on 8/6, unknown suspect(s) took a wallet left on a counter at McDonald’s on N. Stelling Road for a total loss of about $3,200.

 Vehicle Burglary - Bandley Drive
Between 2:45 PM and 3:35 PM on 8/7, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Apple Fitness Center on Bandley Drive and took laptops and a purse containing cash and credit cards for a total loss of about $4,505.

 Petty Theft, Theft by Credit Card - Homestead Road        
Between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM 0n 8/8, unknown suspect(s) took the victim’s wallet from her purse while the victim shopped at Safeway in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road for a loss of about $150.  The suspect(s) then used a credit card from the wallet to make a fraudulent retail purchase totaling approximately $729.

(ARREST) Petty Theft - N. Stelling Road
 Between 8:30 PM and 11:00 PM on 8/9, the victim reported two suspects took the victim’s pet supplies and sports equipment from a residence in the 18000 block of N. Stelling Road for a total loss of about $360.  Both suspects were cited and released.

(ARREST) Shoplifting - Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way
At 8:09 PM on 8/12, the suspect took about $532 of store merchandise without paying from Target on Stevens Creek Boulevard at Saich Way.  The suspect was cited and released.

Identity Theft – City of Cupertino             
On 7/29, the victim received information indicating unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s personal information to create bank and online payment service accounts.  The victim closed the accounts before any financial loss was incurred.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Vehicle Burglary - Miner Place        
Between 12:18 PM and 12:27 PM on 8/2, unknown suspect(s) took a bag containing two watches from the open trunk of a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 10000 block of Miner Place for a total loss of about $7,794.

(ARREST) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Merritt Drive and Larry Way
At 6:34 PM on 8/2, deputies made contact with the occupant of a suspicious vehicle parked at Merritt Drive and Larry Way.  An investigation revealed the suspect occupant was in possession of drug paraphernalia, in violation of the suspect’s probation terms.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Petty Theft - Forest Avenue       
Between 6/30 and 8/9, unknown suspect(s) took the rear license plate from a vehicle parked at a residence in the 20000 block of Forest Avenue for an unknown total loss.

(ARREST) Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia - N. De Anza Boulevard and Interstate 280
At 2:00 PM on 8/10, deputies conducted a foot patrol in the area of N. De Anza Boulevard and Interstate 280 and made contact with the suspect.  An investigation revealed the suspect was in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and had an outstanding warrant.  The suspect was cited and released.

Petty Theft - Pruneridge Avenue
Between 5:00 PM on 7/27 and 3:00 PM on 7/28, unknown suspect(s) cut a lock and took a bicycle secured to a pole in the underground parking area at the Arioso Apartments on Pruneridge Avenue for a total loss of about $500.

(ARREST) Commercial Burglary, Resist/Delay Officer, Misappropriation of Lost Property - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 11:18 AM on 7/31, deputies responded to a suspicious person call at Main Street Cupertino on Stevens Creek Boulevard on report of someone looking into vehicles and checking door handles.  Deputies located the suspect and an investigation revealed the suspect entered a dance studio on Bollinger Road and took a pair of dance shoes for a total loss of about $1,500.  Further investigation revealed the suspect was in possession of misappropriated property.  The suspect, who initially fled from deputies, was ultimately detained, arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road              
Between 3:00 PM and 4:40 PM on 7/31, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Cupertino Village shopping center on N. Wolfe Road and took a backpack containing a cellular phone, two electronic tablets and a wallet for a total loss of about $2,450.

 Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road              
Between 3:40 PM and 4:00 PM on 8/1, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at Vallco Mall on N. Wolfe Road and took a backpack containing headphones and a laptop for a total loss of about $1,540.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road              
Between 1:43 AM and 1:53 AM on 8/3, unknown suspects broke through the windows of four vehicles parked at the Hilton Garden Inn on N. Wolfe Road and took clothing, electronics and purses for a total loss of about $8,785.

(ARREST) Shoplifting, False Information to Peace Officer - N. Tantau Avenue
At 3:20 PM on 8/3, the suspect took about $530 of store merchandise without paying from the Apple Visitor Center on N. Tantau Avenue. The suspect fled the scene, but was apprehended a short time later, whereupon the suspect provided false identifying information to deputies to avoid detection of an outstanding warrant.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Tantau Avenue      
Between 4:00 PM on 8/2 and 2:45 PM on 8/4, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at an Apple office building on N. Tantau Avenue.  The vehicle was searched, but nothing was taken.

Petty Theft - N. Wolfe Road        
Between 7:00 PM and 8:50 PM on 8/4, unknown suspect(s) cut a lock and took a bicycle from a bike rack near 99 Ranch Market in the Cupertino Village shopping center on N. Wolfe Road for a total loss of about $600.

 Commercial Burglary - Homestead Road
Between 3:30 PM on 8/3 and 8:30 AM on 8/5, unknown suspect(s) removed padlocks to access a storage area in a garage at an Apple office building on Homestead Road and took four electric generators for a total loss of about $6,885.

Vehicle Burglary - Vallco Parkway            
Between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM on 8/4, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked in the rear parking for Kura Sushi Bar at Nineteen800 on Vallco Parkway and took a backpack containing clothing for a total loss of about $50.

(ARREST) Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia - N. Wolfe Road and Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 9:57 AM on 8/5, deputies stopped a motorist at N. Wolfe Road and Stevens Creek Boulevard for traffic violations.  An investigation revealed the suspect driver was in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  The suspect was cited and released.

Grand Theft - N. Wolfe Road      
Between 12:10 AM and 12:26 AM on 8/9, unknown suspect(s) took unattended duffle bags containing hockey equipment near the Ice Center at Vallco Mall on N. Wolfe Road for a total loss of about $2,565.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard         
Between 8:45 PM and 10:15 PM on 8/9, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of three vehicles parked at the Loree Center on Stevens Creek Boulevard.  The vehicles were searched, but nothing was taken.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard         
Between 9:00 PM and 10:17 PM on 8/9, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of three vehicles parked at Main Street Cupertino on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a backpack, laptop and wallet for a total loss of about $1,350.

Commercial Burglary - Pruneridge Avenue          
Between 9:00 PM on 8/11 and 5:00 AM on 8/12, unknown suspect(s) entered a storage area at the Arioso Apartments on Pruneridge Avenue by cutting a lock and took appliances and tools for a total loss of about $4,500.

Grand Theft - Vallco Parkway     
Between 6:00 PM and 6:10 PM on 8/12, unknown suspect(s) took a cellular phone left on a counter in the mailroom at the Main Street Cupertino Lofts on Vallco Parkway for a total loss of about $1,400.

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road              
Between 6:00 PM and 6:50 PM on 8/13, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Cupertino Village shopping center on N. Wolfe Road and took assorted electronics for a total loss of about $2,210.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard         
Between 5:32 PM and 7:10 PM on 8/14, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of three vehicles parked at Main Street Cupertino on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took bags containing assorted electronics for a total loss of about $7,380.

Vandalism - N. Wolfe Road          
Between 6:00 PM and 10:56 PM on 8/14, unknown suspect(s) broke a window of a vehicle parked near 99 Ranch Market at the Cupertino Village shopping center on N. Wolfe Road.  The total amount of damage was about $400.

Possession of Misappropriated Property and Drug Paraphernalia - Perimeter and N. Wolfe Roads
At 1:47 PM on 8/15, deputies made contact with the owner of a suspicious vehicle parked at Perimeter and N. Wolfe Roads.  An investigation revealed the suspect owner was in possession of drug paraphernalia and credit cards not belonging to the suspect.  The suspect was released at the scene and the case will be forwarded to the probation department, for violation of the suspect’s probation.

Vehicle Burglary, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Reckless Evading - Stevens Creek Boulevard      
At 9:07 PM on 8/15, deputies responded to an in-progress burglary call at Main Street Cupertino on Stevens Creek Boulevard on report of unknown suspects breaking into a vehicle.  Deputies located the suspect vehicle fleeing the scene and attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspect driver recklessly evaded and drove the suspect vehicle into a patrol car.  The suspects fled the scene, are unknown and at large. 

Vehicle Burglary - N. Wolfe Road              
Between 7:00 PM on 8/15 and 10:00 AM on 8/16, unknown suspect(s) broke through two windows of a vehicle parked at the Courtyard Marriott hotel on N. Wolfe Road and took paperwork for an unknown total loss.

Reckless Evading, Non-Injury Hit and Run Collision - Foothill Boulevard and Walnut Circle
At 11:05 AM on 7/29, deputies attempted to stop a motorist at Foothill Boulevard and Walnut Circle for a traffic violation, but the suspect driver failed to yield and recklessly evaded, fleeing at a high rate of speed and hitting two vehicles in the process.  The pursuit was terminated and the suspect is unknown and at large.

Mail Theft - Alcalde Road             
Between 8:00 PM on 8/3 and 10:30 AM on 8/4, unknown suspect(s) took mail from the mailbox of a residence in the 22000 block of Alcalde Road for an unknown total loss.

Petty Theft - McClellan Road      
Between 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM on 8/6, unknown suspect(s) cut a lock and took a bicycle from a bike rack at Monta Vista High School on McClellan Road for a total loss of about $800.

Residential Burglary - Lockwood Drive    
At 4:10 AM on 8/10, unknown suspects entered the garage of a residence in the 10000 block of Lockwood Drive through an unlocked door and took an air conditioning unit, computer monitor and table saw for a total loss of about $900.

Residential Burglary - Santa Lucia Road  
At 9:15 PM on 8/14, deputies responded to an in-progress burglary call at a residence in the 10000 block of Santa Lucia Road.  An investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by breaking glass double doors, but quickly fled the scene without taking anything upon realizing someone was home.

Residential Burglary - Tressler Court       
Between 10:00 AM on 7/22 and 9:00 AM on 7/29, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 10000 block of Tressler Court by breaking a window and took bags, gift cards and purses for a total loss of about $1,635.

Vehicle Burglary               
Between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM on 7/31, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at Linda Vista Park on Linda Vista Drive.  The vehicle was searched, but nothing was taken.

Battery - Results Way
At 5:00 PM on 8/2, the victim reports the suspect punched the victim after an argument at a construction job site on Results Way.  The suspect is known and at large.

(ARREST) Ignition Interlock Device Required - Bubb Road and McClellan Avenue
At 2:10 PM on 8/6, deputies stopped a motorist at Bubb Road and McClellan Avenue for a traffic violation.  An investigation revealed the suspect driver was driving a vehicle without an ignition interlock device, as required per court order.  The suspect was cited and released.

Residential Burglary - Villa Maria Court  
At 9:53 PM on 8/12, deputies responded to an in-progress burglary call at a residence in the 21000 block of Villa Maria Court.  An investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by breaking a rear window, but quickly fled the scene without taking anything upon realizing someone was home.

(ARREST) Theft by Access Card - S. De Anza Boulevard
At 7:32 AM on 7/30, deputies responded to a suspicious person call at the Technology Credit Union on S. De Anza Boulevard.  An investigation revealed the suspect used multiple counterfeit debit cards and fraudulently withdrew cash from an ATM for a total loss of about $2,580.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Forged Prescription, Identity Theft - S. De Anza Boulevard            
At 5:43 PM on 7/28, an unknown suspect passed a forged prescription at the CVS pharmacy in the McClellan Square shopping center on S. De Anza Boulevard.  The suspect used the victim’s personal identifying information to purchase narcotics for an unknown total loss.

(ARREST) Possession of a Controlled Substance - Bollinger Road and S. De Anza Boulevard
At 7:15 PM on 8/7, deputies responded to a suspicious person call in the area of Bollinger Road and S. De Anza Boulevard.  An investigation revealed the suspect was in possession of Cocaine.  The suspect was cited and released.

Commercial Burglary - Bollinger Road     
Between 5:10 AM and 5:22 AM on 8/9, unknown suspects entered Specialty Foods in the Bollinger Plaza shopping center on Bollinger Road by breaking a glass door and took cash, credit cards and pre-paid phone cards for a total loss of about $5,500.

Commercial Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 9:15 AM on 7/30 and 6:00 AM on 7/31, unknown suspect(s) entered a locked office at the Cupertino City Center Buildings on Stevens Creek Boulevard using unknown means and took assorted electronics for a total loss of about $830.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard               
Between 6:10 PM and 7:15 PM on 7/31, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Loree Center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took an emergency bag from the trunk for a total loss of about $50.

Grand Theft - Starrett Court        
Between 11:00 AM on 7/20 and 10:00 AM on 8/2, unknown suspect(s) using unknown means took a mail package to be delivered to a residence in the 18000 block of Starrett Court for a total loss of about $1,077.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard         
Between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM on 8/6, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Loree Center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a briefcase for a total loss of about $300.

Grand Theft - Bollinger Road      
Between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM on 8/10, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle parked behind QQ Noodle in the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road and took camera equipment and cash for a total loss of about $6,350.

Commercial Burglary, Theft by Credit Card - Stevens Creek Boulevard     
Between 12:30 PM and 7:12 PM on 8/12, an unknown suspect entered an Apple office building on Stevens Creek Boulevard by following an employee with card access into the building.  The suspect took four credit cards from the victim’s wallet and used the credit cards to make fraudulent purchases for a total loss of about $3,821.

(ARREST) False Registration Tab, Possession of Misappropriated Property - Brookwell Drive and Alderbrook Lane
At 2:39 PM on 8/12, deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle call in the area of Brookwell Drive and Alderbrook Lane.  Deputies made contact with occupants in the vehicle and an investigation revealed the vehicle had a stolen front license plate and false registration tab affixed to it.  The suspect in possession of the vehicle was cited and released.

(ARREST) Possession of a Controlled Substance, Driving with a Suspended DL - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 4:35 PM on 8/12, deputies stopped a motorist at Stevens Creek Boulevard and Portal Plaza for a traffic violation.  An investigation revealed the suspect driver was in possession of Methamphetamine, driving with a suspended driver’s license, and had an outstanding warrant.  The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Residential Burglary - Brookwell Drive
Between 8:45 PM and 9:45 PM on 8/12, unknown suspect(s) entered the garage of a residence in the 10000 block of Brookwell Drive through an open door and took an electric bike for a total loss of about $2,000.

Stolen Vehicle - Stern Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard        
Between 12:01 AM on 8/6 and 8:00 AM on 8/13, unknown suspect(s) stole a vehicle parked at Stern Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard.  The vehicle had an unknown value.

Attempted Residential Burglary - Rodrigues Avenue
Between 7:00 PM on 8/12 and 6:15 PM on 8/13, unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter a residence in the 19000 block of Rodrigues Avenue by breaking and prying at a rear sliding glass door but did not gain entry.

Grand Theft - Torre Avenue
Between 3:35 PM and 3:45 PM on 8/13, unknown suspect(s) took a laptop left unattended on a table at the Cupertino Library on Torre Avenue for a total loss of about $1,200.

Vehicle Tampering – City of Cupertino   
Between 10:30 AM and 11:25 AM on 8/14, unknown suspect(s) took the front license plate from a vehicle while it was parked at an unknown location for an unknown total loss.  The victim lives in Cupertino.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard         
Between 6:15 PM and 7:45 PM on 8/14, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of three vehicles parked at The Marketplace shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took laptops and passports for a total loss of about $2,950.

Petty Theft - Stevens Creek Boulevard   
At 6:10 PM on 8/18, an unknown suspect took an electronic tablet from the reception counter at Arya Global Cuisine on Stevens Creek Boulevard for a total loss of about $277.
