Housing Daruwalla
Nina Daruwalla

I was born and brought up in India, studied through the Cambridge system of education, and did my B.A. in Economics & Commerce through Bombay University. I also studied for my Masters degree in Psychology & Counseling skills in Sydney. 2001 was our next move to U.S.A., and we settled in Cupertino, CA. I settled my family, and then took up voluntary work in Emergency Preparedness and Safety with the City of Cupertino. I contracted for the City of Cupertino, and wrote the Flood Insurance program through NFIP – FEMA, as a result of which the City of Cupertino and Community members save 10% on their flood insurance premiums! My passion and interest in people and homes, led me to get my Real Estate license in California once more, and I work as a full time Realtor with Coldwell Banker. My aim in life is to help as many people in the sale or purchase of a home, taking good care of all their needs, and making sure they are well satisfied and settled. I build lifetime relationships, not single transactions!  January 2006, I was appointed as a Public Safety Commissioner for the City of Cupertino, and completed the full 8 year Term – 2014. I continue to work in a volunteer capacity for the community I live and work in. I am also a First Responder –on the CERT & Medical Reserve Corp for the City of Cupertino. January 2016- Appointed as a Housing Commissioner with the City of Cupertino.
