Becoming an Official Block Leader

Congratulations! Once you have held a gathering to connect your neighbors, you've taken the most significant step to becoming a Cupertino Neighborhood Block Leader.

Thank you for helping to build communication in the neighborhood.  You may already notice the difference and feel the sense of community when you arrive back home after a long day away.

We encourage you to keep at it and to contact the City to become an official Cupertino Block Leader. As a block leader, you will receive pertinent information that directly affects your neighborhood and information about new citywide programs. We’d love to help you continue the good work you started.

To remain active, Block Leaders should: 1) Gather neighbors at least once a year; 2) Participate in Block Leader meetings/training at least once a year; 3) Report on neighborhood status. View Block Leader Volunteer Agreement and Block Leader brochure.

Here are other programs you may consider bringing to the neighborhood.
