Home Composting Classes

The UC Cooperative Extension Composting Education Program, sponsored by the Recycling and Waste Reduction Commission of Santa Clara County, offers community classes throughout Santa Clara County that teach residents how to build compost piles and worm bins and apply the compost in their landscapes and gardens.

Registration

Please register in advance at UCCE Composting Education Program registration, or by calling 408-918-4640.

Cupertino residents that attend a compost class are eligible to receive a free compost bin. Only one free bin per household. Contact environmental@cupertino.org to schedule delivery.
