Five dollars of each registration fee supports the work of charity: water, a non-profit whose mission is to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. For more information about charity: water
and their work visit www.charitywater.org. 663 million people in the world live without clean water. That’s
nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide. Or, twice the population of the United States. The majority live in isolated
rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Not only does this walk for
water keep kids out of school or take up time that parents could be used to earn money, but the water often
carries diseases that can make everyone sick. But access to clean water means education, income, and health -,
especially for women and kids.
It’s the main event, the 5K (3.1 miles) race; run, walk or hop at your own pace, it’s up to you. Your registration
includes a shirt, finisher medal, raffle ticket, a five dollar donation to charity: water, and that enormous sense
of accomplishment you feel as you cross the finish line.
You could even score a special award, the top 3 male and female finishers in each age division (see below)
receive a special top finisher medal. Just don’t be late, the race will start promptly at 8:30 am on Torre Ave
(Right in front of Cupertino City Hall).
Age divisions: 6-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.

late; the Kids Fun Run starts right at 9:30 am. After you sign-up you’ll receive an awesome shirt, shiny finisher
medal, and raffle ticket to win a cool prize. You will also help a kid in another country by helping provide
them with clean water to drink.
At the Kids Fun Run, everyone is a winner, so we do not time the event. We just want you to have fun
running with your friends and family. If you are a younger kid, age 4 and under, you will run one lap on the
